Lucky Day!
Oh how I wish I could claim this as my own—because I love it so! But, I was so LUCKY to find it at iCandy Homemade.
This is the gift I sent with each of my children today to give to their teachers—I hope they feel LUCKY to get it!
And, for once, I made one for myself at the exact same time and even finished it—LUCKY me!

Autie gives great directions, but when I see something I like this much, I want to know exactly what to use to make it just like hers. I came as close as I could and added a few details for you—at least for what I used.
- I cut my 1x4 board to an 18 inch length.
- Font is SP Pretty Purkey (Kim from Remarkable Walls generously shared this with me!)It is a commercial font and I purchased it HERE. (A lot of fonts, but SO worth it! Or, you could purchase the vinyl from Remarkable Walls.)
- Lemongrass (green) and Turq H1 (turquoise) grosgrain ribbon from Wal-Mart
- “fancy” turquoise ribbon from the dollar ribbon at JoAnn’s
- light green ric rac from Joann’s

- mini clothespins (Hobby Lobby) were huge—and I never found any at Wal-Mart (maybe there is a smaller mini size??)—so I just skipped them
- rope was from Wal-Mart and I actually found it for a $1 in the clearance aisles
- I just slid the pictures under the ribbon and it looks like it will hold for a while!
My husband is home all day thanks to travelling all night to return from a work trip—it is a LUCKY day for me! (At least it will be when he wakes up and we can enjoy the day! ;)
I hope you have a LUCKY DAY, too!
