American Crafter

Flag Collage

Home Décor: Oh, people, if only you knew how hard this is for me. We’ve moved a lot (a LOT!) and I used to move in and have everything decorated within a month and that’s how it stayed until the next move when I did it all over again. When we moved here 6 years ago, we bought a house and are parked for a while. You would think I would have everything decked out, but this time I know we are staying. And, now, I want things perfect. Umm…yeah…no such thing. Unfortunately, perfect translates into a lot of bare walls at our house!

This is my entry for American Crafter Round 2: Home Décor. Please go vote (for me, preferably, but you know, just vote!) for your favorite Home Décor project. There are some a.m.a.z.i.n.g projects and I can only hope that I make it through the round! This flag is really big and I wanted it in this particular location in my house—a narrow hallow by my narrow entry. It challenged my already challenged photography skills, but I think I caught the essence of it. I love, love, love flags so I think it is absolutely fabulous.

I’ll share a tutorial for this flag next week. I’ve done 4 new tutorials this week (and you know I did them all this week because it isn’t really in my nature to do things early—hahaha!) so I am ready for a break from tutorials right now. Just so you know, you don’t have to keep this flag up year round. If you want to use it seasonally, you can do that too!

Okay…click here to go vote!
