"Sew" CRAZY
This is my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, it has been a super crazy busy time already. I finally got my children's costumes done two weeks before Halloween--for once. It helped that I really only had to make one. Their costumes are a little off-beat this year, but the girls were so happy with themselves.
This is Olivia, the Liberty Bell (completely her idea):
Alison "created" her own costume and it required very little work on my part. She is a French Punk Rocker. I had no input so it is what it is--I can't really explain!
The last one is a repeat of a repeat. Avery is a self-proclaimed puppy most of the year anyhow so it wasn't exactly a surprise that she wanted to be a puppy again for Halloween. Unfortunately, this is Alison's costume from when she was two and she was a tiny two-year-old. Avery loves it even though it is too small and was completely happy. I'm not complaining--it was one less costume I had to make this year.
I was so pleased that I was done with costumes early this year. And then a friend asked me to make a trade for her family's costumes--all from Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. They trick-or-treated at my door and I got this {not so good} picture.

We have Willy Wonka, an Oompa Loompa,
a yellow mandm and a blue mandm.
Gotta love that theme!
And, I was sewing pretty much up to the last minute--us usual!

The girls look so adorable! I love how original the older girls got(The liberty bell...love it).
I saw a little boy at our trunk or treat dressed up as an Oompa Loompa. I think it's one of the cutest costumes for a little one.
