I've been saving the holographic images from the Halloween tissue boxes.
They're just too cool to throw away. I didn't know what to do with them, though.
Then I had a little "A-ha!" moment and figured out how to display them.
 Don't you love it?
Every time you walk by, the image changes. It is hard to photograph, but trust me on this one! It is so fun!!
The best part--after easy, of course--is that you can use a frame you have displayed already and just substitute these pictures during the Halloween season.
You won't even have to find another place to display your handiwork. Just hang them back up where the pictures were originally displayed. When Halloween is over, you can pop your regular pictures back in and tuck these parts away in a small envelope in your Halloween box for next year.
Recycled Materials
The list of why this craft is so cool is truly impressive!

Now let's make it!

Picture frame with matted openings for 3 x 5 pictures
Cardstock for frames
Frames template HERE
Scotch tape
Holographic pictures from the tissue boxes
scissors or exact-o knife

{1} Cut 3 cardstock frames using the template link in the materials list. Be sure to print the template the actual size. It is roughly 5 5/8in.  x 4 1/8in. for the outside rectangle if you want to double check how it prints. If your picture openings are not matted already, you may have to adjust the size of the template.

{2} Use Scotch tape to tape the cardstock frame in the right place. I just worked from the front and eyeballed it and then stuck it down from the back. Once the first piece of tape was holding it in the right place, I flipped it over and taped the other 3 sides down.
{3} Tape the holograph picture to the cardstock frame. It will barely fit from top to bottom so go slow and you can do it.
{4} Repeat with all of your pictures.

Put your backing back on. If you are taking out pictures that are normally displayed here, you can put them in an envelope or a piece of folded paper and slide them behind your other pictures so they don't get misplaced.
{5} Hang it right back up where it was and you are good to go!

I'm linking HERE this week.

I never thought of framing them! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who loves the tissue box pictures on tissue boxes.

Oh, how funny and totally brilliant all at the same time! Did you ever see my post where I did this with a frame like this (except it was white) but I cut out felt leaves and displayed them! I love that our weird minds think alike. But yours is too cute!

True artists see the beauty in everyday items. I love that you did not hide your love for these but proudly displayed them on your wall!

This is such a cool idea - I would never have thought of that. Love it!

Just started following your blog. Very cute ideas. Brittni Schroader lives across the street from me and recommended your blog.
